Abstract

      The work is based on the lexical materials obtained from the dialectical expeditions in Khelvachauri municipality and includes the vocabulary of economic and social fields. Some common Georgian, Zan, and ancient Georgian lexical units, the words and figurative expressions, which are typical for this region, are thoroughly discussed. For Example: Anashkhali, erinji, koberi, lordi, kencho, etc.

      The lexical material discussed in the paper is a small part of the rich vocabulary recorded in this region.
