Copyright, License and Access Types

„BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“ is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available upon publication without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles of this journal without registration and requesting for prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Author retains the copyright over the publication. To comply with legal requirements, we suggest authors to conclude the Contract with the publisher for publication of an article in „BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“.

Publication charges

The submission, reviewing, editing and publication of articles in the „BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“  is free of charge. 

Depositing policy

Under the terms of the journals Open Access license, authors are entitled to deposit submitted and accepted as well as the published versions of their article in institutional and/or centrally organized repositories immediately upon publication, without embargo period, provided that the journal and Publishing House are attributed as the original place of publication and that correct citation details are given. Authors are also strongly encouraged to deposit the URL of their published article, in addition to the PDF version.

Archiving policy

The main purpose of the archiving policy is to select, preserve and make available the archives of „BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“.  The three main objectives are:

  1. To comply with recognized national standards for the preservation of archives.
  1. To describe and publish archives according to professional standards.
  2. To make world-wide available archival material in accordance with professional practice.

The archive contains the official records of articles, abstracts and references published in „BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“.  These records are worthy of permanent preservation as they are of great scientific value and include major academic results of research work.

The „BSU Niko Berdzenishvili Institute. Collected Papers“  stores its full-text archives on the Journal’s and Publisher’s websites, as well as on the platform of The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

Self-archiving policy

Authors may deposit their post-print reviewed articles to personal websites and different databases including the title and issue data of the journal in which the article was first published. 

Plagiarism policy

This journal aims to publish original high quality research work. Submission of manuscript to this journal indicates that the study has not been published anywhere or not been submitted elsewhere for publication. If author(s) are using any part of published paper (in English or any other language), they should give proper reference or in any case, if required they should get permission from the previous publisher or copyright holder (whichever is suitable).

Plagiarized manuscripts would not be considered for publication. If plagiarism is found in any published paper after internal investigation, a letter would be immediately sent to all the authors, their affiliated institutes and funding agency, if applied and subsequently the paper will be retracted.

Complaint policy

Direct contacts are the main and most preferable way of settling disputes between editorial staff, authors and third parties in the process of reviewing and preparing articles for publication, as well as regarding already published articles. In your complaint letter, please, describe clearly the nature of the complaint and the circumstances, the name of the author who is the subject of the complaint, and/or the article or the services which are subject of the complaint. Author who send complaints to the editorial staff of the journal must be sure that these complaints will be considered within a reasonable period of time. While handling the complaints, editorial staff will follow the adopted publishing ethics of the journal.
